MARKETING PLAN PART 1 Part 1, you will be required to (1) write an executive summary of the

company Company: Petco Product/Service: Petco Rewards Program Description: Petco will launch a

new rewards program for customers that will reward them for their loyalty. Customers will be able to

sign up for the program online or in-store and will receive benefits such as exclusive discounts, free

shipping, and early access to new products. Customers will also be able to accumulate points with

every purchase they make which can be redeemed for future purchases (HASSAN,2021). Reason for

Selection: This product/service will help Petco retain customers and increase customer loyalty.

Additionally, it will help them stand out from competitors who do not offer a rewards program. By

offering customers exclusive discounts and rewards, Petco will be able to increase their revenue and

remain competitive in the pet supply market.

Task 1: After I have approved your product or service for a real company, you will then write an

executive summary of the company. Table 2.2 on page 57 in Chapter 2 lists the purpose of an

executive summary and Appendix 1 includes a sample executive summary. Task 2: When you have

finished writing the executive summary you will then write up the company overview. The company

overview should be a brief background of the company and its mission (you can create your own or

use the current mission statement ~ remember to cite/reference if you use the original mission

statement)
