One of the case assignments that I think deserves further discussion is the innovation behind the Iphone. While it's easy to look back and see where the market and industries were trending, predicting or at least accurately predicting, how technology changes and advancement will intertwine within daily lives is difficult. With what is available today, I can't picture another revolutionary technology, like the advancements of personal computers or cell phones, that will drastically change daily life like the Iphone and Apple in general. At this point, it seems more like fine adjustments will be made, rather than full-on new product like the Iphone. Projecting this to business innovation is what will separate average companies from the next great one. I also liked reviewing the history and technological advancement of the auto industry. Automakers who continue to push the envelope and include technology in their vehicles will continue to excel. Older generations who were less accepting of technology are seeing the positive impacts it can have on daily lives, and the younger generations who grew up with technology will continue to demand more from their companies of choice. Overall, business innovation is something that has and will continue to demand an emphasis on and failure to get ahead of the competition will result in being left behind.

Hello Everyone,

As mentioned by most of my classmates this semester has been one of the most fruitful for me as well.  The methodology that I used throughout the SLPs was a great learning experience which has laid a foundation for my future dissertation.  The SLPs were very logically placed, and this is the first course where the fifth SLP and Case were dependent on the predecessors.  Developing the graphs and the project plan was a great exercise, these are great templates for my future planning towards completing my research.

Since I had to switch my dissertation to not only a different institution but to a completely different industry the background had to go through a major change.  However, this course helped me to lay the path for collecting data and conducting both qualitative and quantitative analysis and the way the information would need to be presented to the doctoral committee, for assessment and evaluation of the research process, methods, and results. This has been a big step forward, though there is a long way to go however this course was an excellent course which has given me the confidence of completing my course in the stipulated timelines.
