I press forward with the idea of online training seeing that the return on the investment will be worth the time and effort used to establish it. Although faced with the challenge of increased demands of online courses with reduced budgets, many learning institutions are still opting to go for online training since it cuts down on costs in the long run which means that there will be an increase in returns eventually.
It’s a fact that keeping students in online courses is somewhat tricky, but we cannot overlook the fact that online courses are highly flexible as they can be accessed at any time. This suggests that more employees will get to go through the course as opposed to when they miss a class, for various reasons, and have no way to recover the particular lesson.
To ascertain that there is the satisfaction of the trainees, the developments in technology such as in social networking, allow for interaction and an engaging experience learning online seeing that the online classroom is rather diverse compared to the face to face classroom. It is also more personal in the sense that one can learn at their own pace ensuring satisfaction at the individual level.
With the improvement of digital media, it makes learning and training online rather captivating, capturing the attention of the trainees to completion, as opposed to hard copy material.
With the internet evolving into a somewhat useful communication tool, it dampens the problem of not having the face to face situation, lack of social presence and interaction. There is a good number of communication channels.
It is therefore productive and rewarding to go for the online training taking into consideration of facilities available to make it a success and the fact that 75% of public colleges and universities have belief in that online courses offerings are an essential part of their long-term strategic growth plans. This is coupled with the increase in demand for the online course by these institutions. I consequently find it fitting to partner in the development of the online courses to train employees.
