Diversity Final project Part 1
Hello Academics,
Welcome to the penultimate week of class. It is hard to believe that we only have this week and next week before we are finished with the course. It has been quite a journey; think about all that we've learned. We've discussed some very deep and sensitive topics. I've enjoyed interacting with you and hearing your perspectives. I greatly appreciate the respect and thoughtfulness that you've displayed. Although we are almost at the summit of this mountain, we will have one final push to finish our journey.
This week, you will submit Final Project Part One, your analysis of your issue or event in diversity through the four general education lenses, and Part Two, a multimedia presentation in which you have a chance to reflect on what you have learned about your issue or event, yourself, and diversity through analyzing its impact on society through the four lenses.
Final Project Part One is due on Sun., Dec. 12 . I will be grading Milestone 4 (Assignment 6-2) later this week. I strongly recommend that you review this feedback and that you revise your project, as needed, before submitting it. Also, be sure that you review the rubric to ensure that you have incorporated all the required elements. Your speaker notes for your PowerPoint may be a helpful resource as you add your reflections upon diversity.
Final Project Part Two is also due on Sun., Dec. 12. If you haven't added audio to your presentation yet, you should do so this week. Similarly, I strongly recommend that you review my feedback on Milestone 3 and that you appropriately revise your PowerPoint presentation before submitting it. Also, be sure that you examine the rubric to ensure that you have incorporated all of the required elements. As you did before, you should submit your speaker notes in a separate Word document. Both files (PowerPoint and Word) can be submitted through the Final Project Part Two submission item.
There is no discussion board this week. Keep up the hard work. The apex of the mountain is in sight! All the hard work will certainly pay off when you are on top, looking back at all you have accomplished. Please contact me if you have any questions. I am more than happy to help.
