Social media and networking is concerned about World Wide Web evolution and a collection of various Web applications on Web2.0 that provide room for creating and sharing digital content. In my case I used kickstarter as media platform that I obtained my product idea. I have opted to design Urban X Flex wallet. The wallet comes with the following features:
· Has an original RFID blocking card storage system.
· It also have original loader spring card withdraw system.
· Coated with strong aluminum storage box.
· Covered with carbon fiber pattern leather.
· Contain a signature flex pocket.
Some of the accruing benefits of using these type of wallets instead of leather and other types of wallet is that the X Flex wallet are quick to access cards and funds. The wallet is also coated with inner aluminum body that helps in protecting cards from breaking and halts unwanted RFID and NFC communication (online).
b. Discuss the potential customers for this product/service
The social networking services and communities platform provides a clear way that one should reach customers by using Web 2.0 and therefore this engine shall help identify customers who are more so urban dwellers and business groups that handle large amount of funds in a busy environment .
c. Marketing the X Flex wallet
The Social Web contains sustainable business models that can allow users to share their business ideas. It has got also an application programming interface that allows system languages to be used. In my case the following media platforms shall be deployed while marketing my product:
Facebook: This media platform shall allow me to develop new apps for my product and create appropriate news feed for my product. I would use the Facebook Open Graph mainly business area to market my product. The limitation of using Facebook is that it would require me to upload all product content an idea that might rise privacy concern.
Blogs: This one shall help me in creating and editing my products content to feature customer specification. It shall allow me upload pictures of available X wallets with prices.
Social Bookmarks: shall support my knowledge sharing of the product. More so I will use folksonomy to provide all product content depending on the customer needs.
