DISCUSSION GUIDE: For week 3, please PUBLISH at least TWO POSTS following the discussion script below. Please publish your first post by Wednesday July 8 and your second post by Sunday July 12 (you can publish both posts by July 8 if you'd like). Your first post should be a response to the discussion prompt. Please try to have at least 80 words in a post. You're welcome to publish more than two posts. From this week you will be divided into two smaller groups for discussion. Remember to have a civil discussion, no personal attacks, uncivil language should not be used, always bring evidence in your argument and remember the importance of empathy in political and social discussions. This is YOUR space for discussing class topics. I will not comment on your posts until later in the week, unless there are instances of uncivil behavior.

DISCUSSION PROMPT: This week we talked about political campaigns in the United States and watched some ads from the Biden and Trump's campaigns. For this discussion, think about the 2020 answer the two following questions: Q1-How do you think the coronavirus is changing the message and the strategy of the Biden and Trump campaign?

Q2-Choose one campaign (Biden or Trump). Given your response to Q1, what do you think the campaign should do DIFFERENTLY in terms of strategy to maximize their chances of winning the general election?

You can reference readings, lectures, but also additional articles, TV shows (both entertainment and news), and things that have been happening on the news. As a reminder, we watched the following videos during LECTURE9-Political campaigns part 2:
