The presence of unethical behavior in employees which has a devastating impact on the organization raises the question of employee ethics training programs. Ethics training emphasizes integrating ethical values of employees and also acts as a guide for the employee decision-making process (James Weber, 2014).
The ethical standard has become an essential part of the company or organization to be successful as consumers choose to use products of ethical organizations. Modern communication technology made consumers aware of the ethical standards of the company. So, only by avoiding unethical practices, a company can build a good reputation. The companies found ethical training programs as the most suitable method to reduce unethical behaviors in employees which not only builds a good reputation but also keeps the organizations away from litigation. Ethical training helps to build a positive atmosphere at the workplace which boosts the morale of employees to work effectively and efficiently as well (Nick Kastner, 2016).
Ethics training program develops personal responsibility in employees which not only increases productivity but also keeps the organization secured. It also builds trust and respect for colleagues which ultimately increases team spirit among the employees of the organization(Lisa Mooney).
The effectiveness of the ethical training programs depends on the training objective, duration, and organizational culture. I feel that the unethical behavior of employees is the main reason for the success of ethical training programs in organizations as they use ethical training programs not only to reduce the impacts of unethical behavior but also to improve the nature of the employees to be self-responsible, ethical, and dedicated which ultimately increases the organization's productivity and reputation as well.

Evaluating the success of an ethics training workshop requires an evaluation of the impact on the participants and assessing the effectiveness of the workshops. In addition, ethics training at any level should be considered successful when participants learn new ethics concepts, attitudes, skills, knowledge, and values. Two methods were used to evaluate the success of the training workshop. The first method used a post-test/pretest survey. The second method used a focus group discussion to measure the impact of the workshop. A series of workshop participants were administered a pretest/post-test survey before and after a series of ethical discussion workshops (Steele et al., 2016).
After the ethics training workshop participant has completed the course of ethics teaching, I need to find out if the teaching objectives were accomplished and how far the training material has been learned and applied. Of course, it depends on the type you have presented and whether this is your first or second course. The purpose of the course, length, content, and structure all influence the assessment process.
