Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Charter
Quality assurance issues have been one of the most significant problems that affect the operations of many healthcare facilities. Many organizations in the healthcare industry have failed to achieve the standard quality of their services offered to their clients (Genero et al. 2011). The primary purpose of this paper is to discuss quality assurance and continuous improvement charter that will help to ensure quality improvement in healthcare facilities.
Problem Statement
The health sector in the United States has been facing quality assurance issues. The main serious issue currently witnessed include cost challenges due to the continuous increase in healthcare cost, standard quality, safety, and coverage of healthcare services. The major questions that can be asked many why healthcare facilities face such challenges? What is the primary cause of these issues and how can these issues be solved?

Besides, it will provide appropriate recommendations that will help the management of this healthcare facility to encounter emerging issues in the health sector successfully.

Stakeholders
The success of this project will significantly depend on the support of different stakeholders. As such the project should have the right stakeholders to support running activities during project implementation. The primary stakeholders of this project will include the management of healthcare facilities, healthcare professionals, patients, government agencies among other professionals. Each member of this group will have a defined set of roles that will help to achieve the goals of the project.
Scope of the Charter
Currently the facility is facing many quality assurance issues that have adversely affected its operations. Some of these issues are poor healthcare standards which have to worsen the living standards of the local who seek healthcare services (McCullough & Sigma Theta Tau International, 2010). Also, poor sanitary conditions have influenced the operations of the facility because most patients are not pleased with the current hygienic state of the facility.
For the facility to improve the quality of their services to clients the management of this facility should employ the use of appropriate strategies and policies to ensure quality assurance of their services. First, the facility should introduce health insurance program for patients. The purpose of this program will help control the high cost of healthcare services that are currently witnessed in many healthcare facilities in the United States.
On the other hand, the facility should create a safe environment to promote the safety of patients while seeking healthcare services (Lautenbach et al. 2018). In doing so, the facility will provide quality healthcare services that meet the quality standard required by health agencies. Also, it will help to build a good relationship with patients which eventually will encourage loyalty and commitment to services of the facility.
Additionally, the management of the facility should also engage healthcare professionals who are capable to pursue their duties correctly to meet quality standards expected of the facility (Lautenbach et al. 2018). Moreover, these professionals must possession professional qualifications that will enable them to comply with health care safety and requirements. As such, patients will receive quality healthcare services from professionals who know how to handle different health conditions.
Furthermore, all stakeholders of the facility should support the implementation of physical and sanitation improvement through practicing due care to maintain proper sanitary condition within the facility always. The latter will help to improve good healthcare in and outside the facility which will ensure quality assurance for patients.
