Managers in today’s society have concerns with keeping Millennials of the world in the workplace. This research study provides a basis for understanding some of the powerful issues’ organizations confront in their efforts to effectually include the Millennials currently entering the workforce without college degrees there is no way simple way to solve the problem.
Problem
Organizations along with department managers are experiencing difficulties managing millennials. Many organizations lack the necessary HR Management that is essential for organizations to survive.
Sub-problems
Organizations have inadequate methods in place for recruiting, managing, and developing the new generation now entering the workforce.
Many organizations lack training and mentoring programs to help retain millennials in the workplace.
Millennials want more work-life balance and therefore bring on problems of absenteeism
If the Millennials needs are not met, they will find somewhere else to work.
Millennial connections or relationships with technology has changed the way they know the world. Millennials are spending part of their work week using personal mobile applications.
Because of smartphones Millennials are not fully engaged in theirs jobs.
Millennials are multi-taskers and management can’t seem to get them off their devices and it is interfering with their job performance.
Millennial have overuse of Social Media during work hours

Assumptions and delimitations
The most apparent difference between Millennials and other generations in
the workplace is their distinctive relationship with technology. This should not be
surprising, by birth year, the Internet itself is a member of the Millennial generation.
Importance of the study
Drawing experience as educators, then sharing observations and highlighting organizations along with best practices. While cross-generational workplace tensions are neither new nor likely to dissipate, believe that additional insights gained by exploring this complex and sometimes paradoxical generation will facilitate the ability to tap into their many abilities and talents.
Hypothesis
There are genuine differences in Millennial in values across generations in the workplace, however there will be no difference in values, attitudes, abilities and success for millennials versus other generations regardless of their stereotypes. The impact Millennials will have in the workplace is one of success and the desire to work better, but they also need positive reinforcement by department managers.
