Developing a Vision
Describe your plan for leading a school in developing a vision and the steps that you would take to monitor the progress in moving toward that vision
The main goal of this research is the motivation of an emergent leader gets facilitated by diverse leadership styles including: the transformational leadership theory. It is an approach of leadership which results in change when it comes to the factions that have the ultimate objective of increasing supporters into being front-runners (Ghasabeh, et.al, 2015).
As far as I am concerned, Leadership is among the critical concerns that improve the productivity of an organization since it offers aid to workers in the correct ways with enthusiasm and comfort. Individuals are more comfortable with diverse leadership styles since they feel engaged and empowered in the accomplishment of a team (Korzeniewska, & Wierzchowska, 2016).
Explain your views on leading and motivating teachers.
i. Disability Insurance
This is a kind of insurance which will offer income in the case that an employee are not able to partake their obligations well or earn money due to their case of disability. (Shields, et.al, 2015).
ii. Life Insurance
In this policy, the holder is assured that in the case they die, there would be benefits which will be given to their diverse beneficiaries.
iii. Medical insurance
This last type of motivation is on medical cases. The cover ensures or rather shields the cost of the individual insured or their medical and surgical costs.
By operating with an edge and becoming increasingly strategic, diverse human services leaders can try boosting their efficiency and try shedding their bureaucratic reputation. To accomplish the above aspect by leaders, some of the steps to be taken are supposed to be equipped in management techniques and adapt the skills of strategic planning and problem solving. This gets done by:
i. Warranting Organizational Longevity
Leaders are supposed to be innovative. That is, leaders could at times relinquish control to assist in creating ambiguity which empowers the members of staff and gives them the chance of figuring out things by themselves and implementing change.
ii. Empowering Staff
This means that leaders ought to give their employees the freedom to work together and collaborate in diverse departments (Coggburn, et.al, 2015). This facilitates cooperation instead of competition and gives room for clients to receive better treatment.
Some of the tools to use in motivating employees are:
i. Rewards Systems such as:
· Intrinsic rewards
· Extrinsic rewards
ii. ESOPs, that is, employee stock ownership plans
iii. Participation management
iv. Employee involvement programme
v. Employee recognition programmes
vi. MBO, Management by Objectives
How would you determine the professional development needs at your school and how would you implement this training while creating a positive school culture?
Research shows that working in a team environment is a greater good as well as the cornerstone to most businesses in the world, not only in the United States but also in different companies. Teamwork is essential in running operations of organizations especially with a good form of leadership.
Teachers ought to encourage teamwork, mentor and coach the underperformers and introduce incentives to reward performance. A flatter structure of the organization permits individuals at various levels to work together and communicate productively. In light of the political and economic climates which affect diverse organizations, it is essential to note that these organizations often consist of numerous shareholders, working with several organizations from outside and contains internal departments which could have overlapping areas of accountability.
Describe your ideas about determining needed changes in a school and how you would implement those changes.
Within a school, managerial groups are likely to make more sound decisions as compared to individual managers within that particular company. The motivation of a leader gets facilitated by diverse leadership styles including:
Coaching Leadership style
In the long term, this style of leadership will establish support and rapport as well as facilitate motivation of the school’s employees. The style comprises connecting the goals of the organization with the goals of people. A leader who uses this style is encouraging and emphatic and puts more focus in the development of others for future success.
