Briefly describe the significance of correctly framing a business analytics problem to be solved

When a solution is been looked at, there is a great need to ensure that the strategy that will be employed in solving the problems is ideal and reliable. The solution to the problem has to follow several ways and steps which are guided by the business analytics problem that has been presented to the researcher. In that view, it is important to make sure that the question that will lead to the solution of the analytics problems is properly framed. This framing is very important since it prevents issues of coming up with the wrong solution to the problems. Researchers or the people who are responsible for coming up with the solution to the problem will always use the question or the business problem analytics so that they can come up with the solution. If the question is misleading or unclear, the researchers might become confused and come up with wrong or misleading solutions

In addition to that correctly framing a business analytics problem to be solved is important because it helps in saving time and resources during the process of finding the solution. The researchers will be quick to go directly to the process of finding the correct solution to the problem without having to keep asking for clarification from the business owner. The researchers will also feel motivated when they have a clear picture of what the problem is and therefore be quick to get the solution.

Correctly framing a business analytics problem to be solved is also important because it ensures that the business gets the best solution to solve their problem. The researcher will get the best solution since they have used the best channels for finding out the solution (Srinivasa, 2018). The atmosphere in which they work is also favorable because their mind is open to different solutions which can effectively solve the problem. The researcher does not have to keep guessing the solution since they have a good guideline for the solution.

Choose one industry that is of interest to you. Using this industry as an example, describe issues that may arise from a poorly framed problem.

When the problem is poorly framed, numerous negative outcomes can be realized. For instance, in the Coca Cola Company, if the company has been experiencing a great decline in its sales, question as to why there is the decline of sales should be properly framed. If in case the question is poorly framed, various issues might arise. For instance, the researchers might fail to know what exactly they should research for and they might get themselves researching on a very different problem. A lot of money and time can also be wasted when the research question is poorly framed (EMC Education Service, 2015). The researchers might spend a lot of their time and resources and in the end; they might fail to come up with the most appropriate solution to the problem.

Another issue that might occur is the further decline of the company's sales since the appropriate solution might not beget. This can result in a very great loss to the company and can also affect the general performance of the company. it is therefore important to ensure that the framing a business analytics problem to be solved is correctly done. This is a very serious issue since it can result in the collapse of the company. In addition to that, framing the question wrong might result in conflict between various stakeholders. They might be confused since they might be unable to know their roles in coming up with the solution.
