CSP-SM Post-Class Assignment 2

Assignment 2 – Team Basics

During class we spent some time covering what makes up a Real Team. Recall this definition from your course work:

What is a Team? - A “Team” is a small number of people with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals, and approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable

Using that sentence as inspiration, we performed a short survey about your "Current Situation" in class. You answered questions about a set of behaviors, provided a response choosing either Yes, No, or Unsure, and filled in a reason for that choice. This assignment expands on that exercise using a more focused and tactical set of questions.

Reference the questions in the survey file. This is a survey that ONE member of your team will fill out on their own, rather than a group effort.

1. Send a copy of the survey to each member of your current team or a team that you have recently worked with. I do -not- recommended doing this with a new team just getting started, as the answers will all be "unsure" and is outside of the spirit of the assignment.

2. Each survey participant should provide a Yes / No / Unsure answer PLUS a reason for choosing that answer. Both parts are required for you to interpret the results.

3. Compile the results of the surveys into the format outlined below. Add a row for each participant for responses. You can use responder’s names, or reference by number if you wish to share anonymously.
