Dilip:

Cryptography is one of the best methods to protect the security of the data that applies complex algorithms and logical calculations to design strong encryption methods. Encryption is not the only way to provide security to the data; in some cases, it does not show much effectiveness. (Costa, Figuerêdo & Oliveira, 2017) But Cryptography is better than encryption, and it is a part of using mathematical calculations to hide the original data by encryption and decryption. Cryptography plays a key role in the email exchange by encrypting the email data the content in the email can't be read by the intended audience. If the email exchange is not encrypted, then the hackers can get access to the information, and the users can lose the confidentiality of their emails. Business organizations use emails to communicate confidential data or other business data with their customers or clients, which deals with high confidentiality. If these data are not secured properly, then the organization has to face many security issues that even cause ethical challenges.

By using Cryptography in an email exchange, we can avoid unauthorized access to the email content and protects the privacy of the company. Many business deals and agreements are signed through emails so, it is very important to encrypt the email content using a strong key that avoids unauthorized access. (Bhandari, 2016) It is the responsibility of the organization to provide security to their email exchange where Cryptography methods are very much effective and provides strong security to the email traffic. But the major disadvantage of encryption remembers the encryption key if the same key is not used to decrypt, the users cannot get the original data and creates data losses. Some of the other disadvantages are large processing time due to the complexity of encryption algorithms, maintenance of encryption, and the decryption process is expensive.

Anvesh:

The characteristics of an email have to be seen by both the intended targets and the sender. An intruder can access an email, whether the email was sent from the clear but has intercepted because it was not encrypted. Furthermore, those with the cryptographic signature have access to all of it. End-to-end email encryption is the word for all this email encryption guarantees which only the intended recipients see an email's contents. An attacker can access any details during an email, whether sent through the transparent or just not encrypted and intercepted. Furthermore, unless the email is encrypted, those with the cryptographic signature can access all of it. Usually, a corporation's email system is considered a protected location to store all internal email correspondence (Mavroeidis, Vishi, Zych & Jøsang, 2018).

In certain situations, emails have to use to transmit such confidential information that keeping it in a company's outsource email system or even on databases creates concern for the data protection officer. The clients are constantly inquiring about protecting emails on their corporate network or from a company's outsource cloud storage service. They should encrypt files containing confidential information to keep them under control from private communications. Encrypting a document has the benefit of allowing it to be accessed only by someone who knows the password. Moreover, there seem to be several disadvantages of securely encrypted files that they should be aware of this. One disadvantage of data encryption documents is that they can never restore the data if they forgot the password they use. Their encrypted data would be less reliable if they are using an easily guessable password. It might raise concerns when they use encryption to secure their machine data at home and work. People can find today's modern encryption scheme challenging to break (Yan, Deng & Varadharajan, 2017).
