I am writing to apply for a Lead Teacher position that your school is advertising. I came across the advert on Indeed.com, and I am greatly interested in the position. As an experienced psychologist working with students with special needs, I have a wide range of knowhow, expertise, skills, and experience that will help me to succeed in the classroom. I have experience in learning child behavior and socialization for the last four years.

My expertise is majorly in developing individualized lesson plans that cater to students' individual needs, considering that they have different learning abilities. I am also experienced in student supervision and offering general insight to teachers while always focusing on maximizing students' experience. I am competent at evaluating children's emotions and social development using keen observational skills and my know-how on developing early childhood development milestones. Another significant ability is positive reinforcement, developing a curriculum, and building a positive relationship with parents.

The major achievements that made me competent for the position include excelling as a lead teacher via action pathways, emotional wellbeing, creative expression, and socially acceptable behaviors. I have also managed to plan curriculum for students with different development needs, child assessments, maintaining activities log, and behavioral reports. I have actively engaged in working with assistants and other teachers in training, supervising, and coaching for greater responsibilities and improved care.
