What I Want to Do with My Life: My goal after graduating from Montclair State University is to go to law school. I’m primarily interested in family law. I’m trying to narrow down my choices between civil litigation, civil rights & family law. Family law is what I’ve always wanted to do but this year I also gained an interest in civil litigation & civil rights. So for family law, I have always been interested in that because of my own experiences. Specifically Child Custody. I want to advocate for children when it comes to what they want in divorce situations, foster care situations, and adoptions. Next, I am interested in Civil Rights because I’ve always had a passion for justice especially with everything that is happening to Black people. It’s bad enough African Americans/Blacks face so much inequality, hate, and discrimination but it’s another thing when Black people are wrongfully convicted, wrong death sentences, not receiving fair trials, cannot afford the right lawyer to fight for their rights and so much more. So I just wanna help with that aspect. And lastly, Civil Litigation just because several types of law fall under that such as contract, personal injury, divorce, family law, education law, etc. it would definitely give me a broader area of law to practice so I’m not stuck with one thing. I am very passionate about helping children in difficult circumstances with their parents or guardians. I want to be a voice for them and provide them with the best environment to grow up in, a home where they will be protected and loved. As I have always stood up for myself, it is only natural that I should have such zeal when it comes to law and advocate for those who cannot fight for their rights.

Studies with double concentrations: Paralegal Studies and Justice Systems. Diana also has a minor in Child Advocacy and Policy. Diana's goal after graduation from Montclair State University is to go to law school. Diana wants to narrow down her choices between family law, civil rights and civil litigation. Diana takes part in several organizations and works as a student leader on campus. Diana is a Resident Assistant at Montclair State University, where her primary job is supporting residents. As a Resident Assistant, Diana assists residents with personal, social, and academic concerns or needs. Diana works with the Community Director, Assistant Community Director, or their designee, to identify avenues to develop personal well-being through University experiences. On top of being a Resident Assistant, Diana is also an office assistant at the student center. She leads, assists, and works with the other staff to improve the life of students getting engaged on campus. A day at the office for Diana includes handling incoming calls and other communications, helping organize and maintain common office areas, and being a guide to students who come in with questions. She is the Vice President of Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society which recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement during the first year in college. She is also a member of the Women’s Leadership Academy, which prepares women for leadership roles in the world while helping them succeed academically and socially. Outside of school and being a leader, Diana enjoys writing and reading. She have a lifestyle blog that focuses on college and motivation. Diana works quickly and efficiently and takes pride in making sure that all of her work is organized. She can create content and complete tasks well before the deadlines. Diana is intrigued by the idea of using her organization and writing skills. She aspires to advocate for child abuse and sexual abuse. She is a future activist at heart and is willing to take part in any project for social justice.
