Constitutional Design Proposal Assignment Instructions
Overview
Institutions matter. We are shaped by, and operate within, a wide range of political, economic, and cultural institutions, many of which we take for granted. By reflecting on institutions – some of which may be strong, some of which may be weak, some of which may be coming into being, some of which may be passing away – you will develop a clearer sense of how institutions impact human behavior, and of how formal institutions like government depend upon other institutions.
