Sherman Alexie and Louise Erdrich. How do these two poems bridge

indigenous and American cultures? Think back to the Week 1 reading on

Edward Said: how do these poems critique the Orientalism of Western

culture? Orientalism often refers to the Western perception of cultures

halfway around the world, but think about how these poems highlight it

within America too...
