Young Women Facing Their Future is a non-profit organization co-founded by these three beautiful hearted ladies by the name of Cassandra P. Mitchell, Martha P. Williams and Alberta Holmes which established in 1998.Their mission is to empower young women with the tools to become independent, productive, respectful, and positive contributor in today society. This organization focus on boosting the morale and improving the self-image of those with low self-esteem. These young ladies will be provided with the opportunity to engage in actives which will guide them along a conscientious path of self-awareness and self -acceptance. This consists of mental health counseling that reflects the emotional effects of sexual abuse, rape, and or molestation.

This non-profit organization provide workshops that will equip each young lady with skills to help them cope and recover from their life altering events. To become a member, they require you to be devoted, motivated, dedicated, reliable, and possess a positive attitude. Young Women Facing Their Future, Inc. services rural area in Miami from the ages of 7 to 18. It does not matter if you are black or white, they will take you in. YWFTF provide service of tutoring, counseling, parental workshop, social activities, life coaching, games, homework assistance, job placement, scholarship and many more.

YWFTF is currently running their program online due to Covid-19. I was invited by one of the founder Cassandra P. Mitchell to join them on zoom. It was about 12 girls online. It was interested to me because I never join an organization when I was younger. We talked about many different subjects and did many different fun activities. Everyone was nice and inviting.
