Communication plan

Purpose

· The purpose is to promote the need to the right audience to open a small business for girls from less fortunate backgrounds to empower them socially and economically.

Goal

· The key goals entail: building strong and long term partnerships with local businesses, mobilizing adequate funding for the business, and identifying the right market for the products sourced from the business

Audience

· The audience shall involve the local business community, fundraising agencies, and local government authorities. Each will ensure there are adequate funds to start the business, appropriate certification for operation, and introduction into the market for its products

Key message

· The message to relay is that every less fortunate girl has the right to access support through empowerment and the small business will act as a center to grow and be successful.

Supporting points

· The small business idea will act as the foundation to empower the girls with resources and business skills. This is a way to recover the community through a small business (ACTED, 2020).

· The business will act as a bridge between the small girls and the community to encourage more support and integration.

Channel selection

· The selection channel targets the audience and it will involve organizing a meeting and workshop with the stakeholders to come up with strategies for the business plan. The community acts as a rich source of resources (Ikeda Center, 2005).

Action request

· The request is for resources and support to be availed to start and manage the business for the long term. This will make it possible to set a five-year plan and open more doors for expansion and be able to help more girls.
