I could not provide you with very many comments because you misinterpreted the assignment. You need to analyze a contemporary social issue by using the theories of at least two scholars that we learned about this quarter. Your paper explains why gender is a social construct, but for this assignment you would need to build on the concept of gender as a social construct rather than reiterating what is already present in social theory. If you are interested in gender and sexuality than I suggest that you focus your paper on something like media representation of trans characters on TV, trans rights legislation, or surveillance of gender through the repression of trans identities. Please refer to the sample paper Dr. Dillon provided at the beginning of the quarter.

Unfortunately, this means you will need to re-write your essay to comply with the assignment.
