Go to Module 1. Please introduce yourself and discuss the syllabus.
Dan: which article should we read for the first module?
Two articles. The first one 2005 and the second 2018. Books can be found on blackboard.
Beth: Can you be specific about the discussion boards?
You’re having discussions amongst the class. We work on discussions by submitting entries. 4/5 entries per module is okay as long as your posting your entries and using the discussion board.
Alexis: More info on discussion boards.
We have 7 modules and 14 days in between each one. You essentially have 14 days to submit your entries.
Mike: Are there 7 different discussions per module?
Prof. wants us to be socially present, and socially responsible.

First assignment should only be one page. Two pages is fine but try to keep it under 3 pages.
Your midterm and final will be assignment 1.
You can find your first assignment under module 1.
Thomas: Do we have to fit 9 citations in one page?
Yes. Example “the definition of programming is ‘….’”

Read the article and come up with three topics.
Always smile. There is a lot of money in this field. People don’t know now but they will know later. Do something that will benefit you in the long run. No one calls him… Prof. is easygoing with phone use, just limit it. Prof. has a lot of experience in the tech field. He can offer help if needed.
