Classmate 1:

Evaluation of job profile and requirements for that will not work without having proper data. Data is mandatory to determine various job profiles. Data cannot be measured at a whole instead KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are required to segregate the data based on divisions in a company. Good performance can be measured with certain KPIs given by the organization and employees must meet them to get the performance appraisals which also can help the organization to grow better. KPIs are defined as strategic metrics. Following these metrics define how successful the organization is and how HRs manage to maintain these KPIs with their performance and employee as well (Van, 2021). Few of the important HR KPIs are average interview cost, average length of placement, average salary, number of training hours per person and cost, average retirement age and many more. Usually organizations use HR KPIs to access their current status and their position in this competitive market, to compare their operations with the existing competitors in the market, to also check the status of their service effectively. These are powerful tools to assess, improve and grow the status of organization. Watkins (2020), in his article described five essential KPIs that drive HR team to serve the organization. They are Turnover, Absenteeism, Internal and Referral hiring rates, Revenue or productivity per employee, training costs and effectiveness. As HR manager, it is important to follow these KPIs by themselves and to make sure employees are communicated with these instructions. The important job of HRM team after recruiting would be informing the technical and project managers to adhere on these KPIs without fail.  These metrics are very important to calculate the progress of a company and to develop in future (Van, 2021).

Classmate 2:

The listed five performance key parameters are as following revenue per client/member (RPC), average class attendance (ACA), client retention rate (CRR), Profit Margin (PM), Average Daily Attendance (ADA) to evaluate the performance of the team-mates.. In the discussion, I have worked towards accumulating KPI parameters utilized in the organization I am currently working also have listed how my managers have explained the importance of KPIs with corresponding rewards associated with it.

Firstly, as a controls system lead, the very important KPI parameter for me is to highly be engaged in the customer service of maintaining and improving automation systems of the employer Amazon distribution center.  In addition, I need to showcase the positive energy of customers by addressing their problems by explaining the right measures to resolve the issues also assisting in-person to resolve the problem (Jahangirian et al., 2017). Not only do I need to assist in the maintenance of automation systems but also display high-quality standards by being at the problem location immediately, addressing the issue as well getting the system to return to service, and gathering notes for tasks performed in the troubleshooting process. In all I need to be very attentive to answer the radio calls for issues, monitor systems, check emails, correspond with peers to be ahead in the automation industry.

In my organization, my managers have explained the importance of KPI’s particularly in the completion of associated training assigned, timely arrival at the site, work towards efficient results, corresponding with peers as well participation in meetings. The rewards with implementing KPIs are performance raise, higher employment benefits, good incentives, profit sharing of the company’ annual profit made (Badawy et al., 2016).
