Lighting Control Statement
 For lighting controls I will be using occupancy sensors and timers to control lighting. The occupancy sensors will be manly in guest rooms and will be dimmable and the temperature will adjust with the time of day. The timers will be controlled by staff and will be monitored to go on and off at certain times of the day. Overnight the lighting will reduce to minimal lighting in spaces unused like the bar. These lights will also tune to the time of day.


Color Rendering Index Statement
 During the day the lights will adjust so that the colors and finishes in the room can be lit by the natural light. It will reinforce the natural light on overcast days and as it turns to evening the lighting will turn to warmer to create a lounge appropriate mood. The transition between the bright day light to the warmer and dimmer evening light will be smooth and all finishes have been considered in all different lighting.


Adherence to target market with manifestation Statement 
 The target market for this project is very broad with special attention paid to older adults and the impairments that come with aging. Lighting will be bright enough to illuminate task plains like egress paths and table surfaces. This light in combination with the LRV of our paint and wall finishes will work to minimize glare. When choosing the wall coverings the LRV will be taken into account as a major factor in the choice.


Sustainability Statement draft
 In order to take sustainability into consideration many design choices were centered around the topic. As for flooring materials, locally made materials like Armstrong Flooring will be used. Low VOC wall coverings and paints are going to be utilized. LED lighting will be used in all major lighting fixtures and all controls will be self regulated in order to avoid human error in turning them off.
