Keep Them Out of the Game
- Take their helmet – they will then steal another players helmet
- Have them remove their shoes
- Have them remove their shoulder pads
- Assign student athletic trainer to shadow them
- Monitor them closely
Sending a Player Home
- What to tell parents or room mate:
- Wake them every hour or so
- Determines if condition is deteriorating
- They should not take pain killer
- You want to know if they are in pain
- Immediately go to ER if condition worsens
