Keep Them Out of the Game

  • Take their helmet – they will then steal another players helmet
  • Have them remove their shoes
  • Have them remove their shoulder pads
  • Assign student athletic trainer to shadow them
  • Monitor them closely

Sending a Player Home

  • What to tell parents or room mate:
  • Wake them every hour or so
  • Determines if condition is deteriorating
  • They should not take pain killer
  • You want to know if they are in pain
  • Immediately go to ER if condition worsens
