DAA Section 3: Results and Interpretation

Section 3 asks for descriptive statistics, the ANOVA results, and a post hoc test if the ANOVA is significant. Select Descriptive Statistics.

Copy and paste the Descriptives output into DAA Section 3.

If the homogeneity assumption is NOT violated, run the Homogeneity Corrections "None” test. Paste the ANOVA output into

DAA Section 3. Skip to Step 5.

Determine if the homogeneity assumption IS violated or IS NOT violated.

Results & Interpretation

Report the means and standard deviations of quiz3 for each group of the section variable.

Report the results of the F test (homogeneity not violated shown above). Interpret the statistical

results against the null hypothesis and state whether it is rejected or not rejected.

Finally, if the F is significant, interpret the post-hoc tests (homogeneity not violated shown

above).
