(Delete below instructions and examples when bibliography is complete.)
1. Use Times New Roman 12 point type throughout. Avoid special formatting such as bolding and underlining. Let pages break naturally rather than forcing breaks.
2. Alphabetize the annotations by author according to standard APA format rules.
3. Begin each annotation with an APA-formatted reference list entry.
4. Follow each reference list entry with a roughly 250-word summary of the article. Conciseness is important; do not use unnecessary words for paragraph transitions or other mechanical purposes. Simply make the important points one after the other. Indent the summary one-half inch from the left margin.
5. End the annotation with a list of 1–4 keywords that broadly categorize the theme or themes of the article. These will make it easier to organize the bibliography thematically later. Indent the keyword line one-half inch from the left margin.
6. Although each annotation has its own reference entry, include each annotated article in a reference list at the end of the bibliography. This will make it easier for any future uses of the bibliography. If any sources other than the annotated article were cited, include them as well.
