Keeping the mind and body in good shape requires proper diet. Many individuals diet for any reasons. Some do diet because of their body size, some do it to maintain activeness, while some diet because of their health.

Firstly, especially the celebrities, they spend a lot of money on their body just to maintain their perfect body, some may be plus size and wouldn’t want to slim down while some would be slim. Before Adele started slimming down, she revealed she spent a lot of money on her diet just to stay in that plus size shape and maintain that popular shape that made her popular. She revealed she didn’t want to start changing her wardrobe because of her celebrity status.

Another reason why people diet is because of their activeness in sport. When an athlete begins to notice changes in their performance, they tend to adjust their diet to regain or maintain their form. When the formal Manchester united player lost his football form, a nutritionist from announced on the BBC radio that the key to regain his form is to diet and lose some weight. He followed the instruction of the doctor to stay on diet for 6 months. Things eventually turned around for good for him.

Lastly, some people diet just to maintain good health, people go through the process of watching their nutrition because of their health. Fat people are at the risk of having heart attack, cardiovascular diseases, and stroke. When most people are beginning to see accumulation of excess fat in their body, they start taking more of proteinous foods and water.

In conclusion, it is important to know the reason why an individual wants to diet, what ever reason it is, it should benefit the body and mind.
