1. Cover Page, Page Numbers & Table of Contents – 5 points

· Include: “ERP Vendor and Career Project” as the title of the cover page, your name, class name and Summer 2023. Please create a table of contents using the table of content feature in Word. Please number each page using the page number feature in MS Word.

 

2. Executive Summary – 5 points

· This is a brief summary (2 – 3 paragraphs) of your entire project. Assume that your target audience is an executive with little time to read, but with a need to understand the key messages from the report.

 

3. Comparing ERP Vendors (pg. 31)

· Answer Question #1 (“Comparing ERP Vendors”) on page 31. Select five ERP vendors and visit their websites to answer parts a, b, c, d and e. Provide your recommendation with justification as to which vendor and product you select.  You do not need to create this in an Excel spreadsheet as stated in the book. Please create a table in your word document.

· Answer Question #2 (Under, Review Questions) on page 160.

6. Business Process Description

· Describe the business process of ordering a product from your favorite retailer via ecommerce (their website). Describe this process in detail from logging on to completion. Also, list 5 recommendations of how they could improve the retail experience for you as the customer and list 5 recommendations of how they could improve the retail experience for their business. (You cannot use Amazon or ebay)

· Has the company made any adjustments to their model to accommodate for the pandemic?

· Include a Flow diagram of your business process - Use VISIO to produce this diagram.
