· Define the management team by drafting an organizational chart for hiring employees.
Organizational Chart for Hiring Employees
Effectiveness in operation in any business organization requires a well-organized structure for the hiring of employees. The structure should consist of the top General Human resource Manager who is the general overseer of the entire recruitment of all the employees in the organization. General Human resource Manager is responsible for developing and administering human resources plans and processes that relate to the company personnel. The manager will also implement and revise the company compensation program for the employees (Fairchild, 2017). Additionally, the creation and revision of job descriptions in the company are also carried out by the manager. It is the responsibility of the general manager to develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures. The Deputy Director of Human Resource will assist in advising the general manager in the effective ways for recruitment of employees. The director will help in overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing, and placing job ads. The Affirmative Employment personnel help to ensure that the employees meet the job competency requirements. All the complaints that may arise during the hiring process are reported to the Complaints and Adjunction Director. The general Employment Advisor gives recommendations and advises on issues that may affect hiring of employees within the organization.
· Draft the key employee policies and a code of ethics
The employee policies and code of ethics outline the organization’s expectations regarding employee behavior towards other individuals within the organization, supervisors, and the entire management of the organization. The policies apply equally to all the employees regardless of the employment terms of agreement or rank. The employees are bound to compliance with the law. All the employees must protect the organization’s legality. There must comply with all the environmental safety and fair dealing laws. The employees must be responsible when dealing with the organization’s finances, products, partnerships and, public image. Secondly, they should observe respect in their workplace. All employees should respect others and avoid any form of discrimination, harassment, or victimization.
Third, the employees must protect the company property. Every employee should treat the organization property with respect whether they are material or intangible. They should avoid frivolously or misuse of the company equipment. Forth, employees must show integrity and professionalism in the workplace. Fifth, all employees must observe professional physical appearance through observing the dress code of the company. The employees should avoid all forms of briberies for the benefit of any internal, external party. All the employees should fulfill their job duties with integrity and respect towards the customers, stakeholders, and the community. The employees are expected to avoid any form of personal interest that may hinder their performance.
· Provide the details on the workplace environment, the location of the business, and the facilities necessary to operate the business. If a virtual component is a part of the workplace, explain how that is going to be incorporated.
The environment around the workplace consists of diverse people with various cultural practices and religion. This has affected the manner of making policies that guide the coexistence among the people. This ensures that the employees observe all the regulations within the organization and ensure that no individual insult the other. It will promote cooperation among the employees and maintain unity among the individuals (Butcher, 2013). Among the facilities that are important for the operation of the business include updated computer system that will assist in keeping all the data on the business organization’s operations. All the departments within the organization should have their offices of operation where they will organize all their duties to enhance the business operation. All the machinery that is used for the business should be maintained to ensure their efficiency in doing business functions. It is important to avail all the business record books to ensure accountability of every business transaction in the organization.
· Describe the supply chain of the venture with its aim component and its management approach
The business organization aims at offering its product to both the local and global market. It is aiming at offering superior product services that beat all other businesses in the competitive business environment. The organization depends on its management to be at the peak in the competitive marketing environment. The organization focuses on doing market survey and market research to identify all the dynamics that exist within their product line. This initiative helps then to reduce the uncertainties in demand. They also focus on product quality optimization to make them more superior in the market. The business relies on the management approaches which focus on planning, controlling, and organizing to improve the function of the business. It applies behavioral approach with applies psychological research to maintain the relationship between the employees. The management focuses on motivation, leading, and giving direction to the employees. The behavioral approach also helps to in understanding how groups influence communication between the workers and the management. This ensures an increase in output among the teams. It will also ensure protection of the social welfare of all the workers.
· Customer service processes of the business
The business provides customers with efficient way of purchasing the products and services. It offers online services that are convenient for most of the customers. They can log on to the organization’s website and find all the important information about the product and service they would like to get. The customers are also protected from exploitation that they may face from some groups of individuals who are not adhering to the policy of the organization. The customers can get genuine products through the online purchasing process. It makes them trust more goods and services from the organization. They also enjoy free delivery services upon ordering many products. A good discount is also guaranteed in instances if bulky purchase. This encourages customers and makes them love the organization more than any other.
· Discuss the significant innovations related to the delivery processes, inventory management, and distribution
The business has come up with new technical innovations that help customers to obtain goods and services at their comfort zones. They apply the internet to publicize their products and teach the customers more on their delivery procedures. The customers can follow the ordering procedures and get satisfactory services. The organization has developed a website and created many social network pages where the customers can visit to get more information on their service delivery. There are also seminars organized specifically to create awareness among the customers on how to apply the latest technology in doing the business. The organization has developed a computerized system that helps in inventory management. All the necessary inventory information is kept in the database which is protected from malicious individuals who may hack it to get the information. The distribution of the products is made possible through the allocation of a vehicle specifically meant for distribution.
· Describe the methods to define and ensure quality of products or services.
The company ensures provision of quality products and services through five main ways. First, is through commitment. The top management leaders within the organization mainly focus on quality and are committed to satisfying the customer's needs. Through commitment, the organization ensures that the quality of the products is satisfactory to the customers. Secondly, quality is assured through tracking mistakes. It is done through statistical quality control. Product’s specifications are set, and sampling of a small number of units along the production line is determined and set. Setting standards will ensure maximization of quality. Third, the organization maximizes training the employees. The quality of services is improved through organization of training seminars where the employees gain more skills in service delivery according to the prevailing market environment. Forth, an organization of quality circles also help in the identification of problems that affect the business. The employees will be encouraged to assess the process and propose recommendations for improvement on quality. Finally, the right attitude is important for quality assurance on the products. The attitude of a given group of individuals on a product or service can affect quality.
· Discuss the laws impacting the business and methods of compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
The laws that have impact on the business is the one on customs duty and export management. Some of the products are charged at a very high cost. This makes the organization to adjust to its prices on the products to be able to adhere to the compliance regulations. All the products are also checked by the standardization body to ensure that the quality of the products is satisfactory according to the standards set by the state (Laasch, 2018). The protection of customers from exploitation is one of the laws that the organization focuses on through regular check on different market price fluctuation which some sellers can misuse to exploit customers. The organization complies with export laws by paying customs duty on every product that is exported overseas. This compliance prevents any wrangles that may arise and prevent the success of the business operations on exportation of products.
