nature of the company in providing on demand movie streaming services.
Netflix’s corporate mission statement show the entertainment business nature of
the company.
Core strategy is to grow our streaming membership service.
This core strategy refers to Netflix’s genetic strategy for competitive advantage
and intensive growth strategies.

Vision Netflix vision is to continue being one of the leading firms of the internet
entertainment business.
It highlights the company’s strategies goal of being at the top of every level of
competition.
It hopes to continue leading by offering an excellent entertainment experience for
every household.
Values The values at Netflix are as follow: Judgement, communication, innovation,
courage, passion, integrity.
At Netflix employees who follow these values are the ones, who are most likely to

Together with the desire from every employee to make a difference while doing
the right things, Netflix believes that the company can have the impact it aims for
in the sector.
Structure Netflix organizational structure is hierarchy but with modifications that account for
business flexibility and responsiveness to global market changes.
Functional groups for online and non-online operations.
Geographical divisions for managing regional markets.
Divisions for various product types and operation types.

Culture “Netflix has opted for a unique organizational culture and talent approach.”

A culture of success, real virtues a company’s value must not sound good but be
true.
They want to pay the best salary.
Freedom with responsibility, look for employees who know how to handle
themselves honestly and loyal.
Analysis Netflix is a company that has taken entertainment to another level with its interactive, up to date,
and user-friendly application. There is so much diversity characterizing its services which have made it the
sought after and most wanted streaming provider not just here in the U.S (United States). but all over there
world Netflix continues to grow. Looking at the quality and customer satisfaction, good would be an
understatement for what Netflix has carried out since they first started up. Netflix Mission statement
emphasizes the outcomes the company can treat all its stakeholders, including its customers as well. Netflix

Page 5 of 5 is also a company that holds its core values as imperative components to the overall growth of its streaming
model. Netflix continues to support its top reputation in line with what its mission and vision statements
envision and will continue to grow as the company grows.
Netflix culture is based on a core philosophy that prioritizes people. (“Netflix Inc.’s Organizational
Culture ... - Rancord Society”) The company addresses the needs of its human resources to ensure that its
online business processes are effective and effectiveness, because everything they do is done online
mainly. Extraordinary candidness is an organizational culture trait that encourages Netflix’s employees to
keep an overall attitude of sincerity and objectiveness. Focus on high effectiveness leads Netflix to
emphasize high productivity and job effectiveness through programs related to the corporate culture.

organizational culture to show that high productivity is the norm in the steaming workplace, therefore
motivating employees to adopt this attitude in their social interactions in the workplace.
Some things Netflix can do to improve its business model is one reduced rising price, appeal to a
wider base, and support shortages. “Netflix killed Blockbuster in the 2000’s by being the more convenient
and cheaper movie option.” Now with so many other streaming platforms around, ironically Netflix is getting
a taste of their medicine. So, for that reason they have had to raise their prices on their two options they
have and seems like they have been doing this every year now.
