25.17
paraṃ nirodhād bhagavān bahavatîty eva nôhyate
After the Great Cessation the Buddha exists. This cannot be said.
na bhavaty ubhayaṃ cêti
He doesn’t exist, or both (exists and doesn’t),
nôbhayaṃ cêti nôhyate
or neither (doesn’t exist, not non-existent) –
These too cannot be said.
