Call for Bids:

Project: Small Commercial Building

Location: City of Tuskegee, Alabama

Owner: JOCHAS COSAM

Bids MUST be received by: 4:00PM Local (Central) Time, May 6 2021.

Place: Submit as One PDF document in Blackboard arranged in sequence/order with your name only on the file name and nowhere else on the document by the deadline.

Proposals: Bids must be submitted in full and in accordance with the requirements of the Drawings, forms and any other document that are posted in blackboard.

The bidders shall complete and submit as part of the bid the following items/forms:

1. Bid proposal form

2. Bid bond

3. Subcontractors and suppliers

4. Contractor’s certification of eligibility

5. Statement of bidder’s qualifications

In Addition, the bidders shall submit the following documents:

1. Provide quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for Sitework (take the whole rectangular area ABCD shown in the survey drawing where AB = 180ft and BC = 110ft is to be cleared and excavated to a level of 710 feet above sea level for laying the small commercial building), concrete, Masonry, and Metal work.

2. Use RS Means and Bluebeam where applicable and submit your worksheets and summary sheets/reports.

3. Submit spreadsheet reports where applicable. Apply overheads and profits: 4%

Note : Arrange your cost estimates for easy evaluation (e.g., tabs and/or table of contents, etc.). Make and/or STATE the necessary assumptions as required in your submission, but do not forget to document them (via query sheet if needed). Points will be deducted if you are not organized.
