Watch one of the following episodes of Black Mirror (on Netflix, EMAIL ME ASAP if you do not have

access to Netflix). Then read the associated articles about current and future technologies that are

similar. Feel free to also do additional research on your own. Using one of the alternate futures

presented in one of the listed Black Mirror episodes, write a 5-10 page story about what living in this

world would be like. You can write from your own perspective or a fictional person you create. Answer if

you\the character would enjoy this world. What concerns would you/the character have for your/the

character’s safety, privacy, autonomy, etc. Does the technology have an impact on your everyday life or

does it only seem to appear occasionally? Maybe you want to address an aspect or consequence of the

future world that wasn’t shown or discussed in the episode, feel free to take creative liberties as long as

it makes sense in the world you are working with.
