A Bill For Amendment of An Act Entitled: 8 U.S.C. 1324A - UNLAWFUL EMPLOYMENT OF ALIENS
In the Senate
07 July 7, 2015
Senators (Your Name) introduced the following resolution, which was referred to the Committee on Foreign Policies and Immigration
Senate Proposal
Resolved by the U.S. Senate of the United States of America, that the following article is proposed as federal law under the jurisdiction of the Untied States of America, enforceable by Executive action.
"Be it amended by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, that:"
Section 1: Illegal Mexican immigrants/ aliens refers to any person from Mexico who gain access to US illegally, that is without the proper procedure
Working refers to any form of employments be it formal or informal
Section 2: It is common knowledge that many US citizens feel that Mexican immigrants are continuously taking up jobs, which are meant for them. consequently, unemployment’s rates are rising especially for the less educated because employers have a source of cheap labor. It is agreed that the current laws are not adequate to deter US employers from employing aliens because they believe that they gain much from the aliens but pay insignificant fines whenever they are caught. Consequently, they choose to hire the aliens because they pay them little wages and spare the money to pay for the fines because at the end it increase the investors’ profitability. They prefer employing the aliens in because they settle for lesser pay, which has in turn affected wage increments in the US. Although the aliens contribute in the manufacture of cheap products and services for US consumers, in reality they have adverse effects on the economy because the government spends much on unemployment benefits. Eventually, the government spends more than five hundred trillion dollars in five years before 2012. At the same time, stagnant salaries do not help the economy since it limits the people’s spending power which has negative effects on industries because some have to lay off their workers. The fact that the illegal immigrants are choking up the job market, it is imperative to take necessary measures to curb the menace and ensure that our people have access to jobs and competitive reward systems, which would help them, achieve the American dream. The immigrants come to this country because they are sure of finding employment opportunities, which means that investors have a significant role to play in the problem. all employers ought to understand the importance of hiring only those who have the necessary papers that allow them to live and work in the country. In this way, it would be possible to deny the immigrants their livelihoods and dissuade others from migrating to the country.
Section 3: All of US
Section 4: Labor unions from Texas would fund the act because they support the right for Americans to get what is rightfully theirs. The Department of Homeland Security would oversee the bill and its duties
Section 5: In addition to the current penalties, it is proposed that first offenders receive a jail term not exceeding six months in prison without the option of fine. Repeat offenders to receive a jail term of not less than two years without the option of fine.
Section 6: 01 Jan. 2017
