BASKETBALL RESEARCH TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Role of the NCAA in college sports.
2. Number of boys and girls who participate in high school basketball.
3. Percentage of boys and girls who participate in high school basketball and go on to compete in college.
4. Percentage of college men and women who go on to become professional basketball players.
5. Identify the four HBCU conferences and list each school within the conference.
6. Characterize the three divisions of the NCAA, to include number of schools in each division, the minimum number of sponsored sports for women and men, number of scholarships, and how teams are chosen for championship play in each division.
7. Compare the coaching salaries of football and basketball for all three divisions.
8. Paper must include opening and closing statements and the paper has to be a minimum of two pages.
