Part one:

answer the following question in one paragraph or bullets.

We talked a bit about this in class earlier in the semester, and wanted us to explore it further.  The newly merged Dynamics company needs to build a new system to manage employee performance reviews:   What types of reporting would you need from an employee performance review system?

Part 2:

For each paragraph bellow write a comment (1 to 2 sentences)

Ideally, overall performance critiques grant a stepping-stone for the employee and supervisor to identify and talk about areas where performance can be improved. It can additionally be an important chance for the worker and supervisor to be reinforced or clarified their expectations.

As the name suggests, I will propose a 360-degree feedback evaluation, which offers a comprehensive look at an employee’s overall performance by using comments from outdoor sources that can be used at any time, regardless of the frequency. The employee and the manager will still complete an evaluation of the employee’s work overall performance and technical skillset, however, this assessment technique additionally includes comments from peers, direct reports, and/or non-direct supervisors with whom the employee works regularly. Additionally, 360-degree feedback evaluations can consist of an assessment of the employee’s personality and leadership skills.

Moreover, there are shorter approaches to take a look at workers performances such as, implementing a skill evaluation with the KSA approach (K – Knowledge: cognitive skills, “knowing something” S – Skills: psychomotor domain, physical skills, “know-how” A – Attitude: motivating factor, “wanting to do”.) elaborating later a plan of action will help to enhance what is needed or making use of the goal and result approach which identify if the worker being evaluated met the expectations of the organization could be another way to evaluate their performance.

Comment:

On the topic of Performance review, you have to understand that in general, employees will take their performance review into consideration, and most importantly, one has to be critiqued in a respectful manner. While reviewing the performance review system, it is important to understand a couple things that may be of importance. for example, implementing the 360 degree feedback where every employee receives anonymous feedback from those who work around them. this can help bring about awareness for employees to always be cautious even when the boss is not around. for the second type of reporting, one could implement putting employee performance requirements in their handbook to let employees know what is expected of them every time.
