Directions:

· Download the Module 3 Exercises Template in the Module Assignments Area.

· Type your name in the cover sheet.

· Type the date submitted (example: August 1, 2017).

· For each heading (example: Part I: Global Model) there is a sentence in the Module 3 Exercises Template to prompt you. Type directly over that sentence to follow the formatting.

· Your paper should follow APA format, and should be in your own words. Any content you take from a source must be inside quotation marks and must be cited in-text (author, date).

· In APA formatting, you are not permitted to use “I.” Instead, you must be an independent researcher. Say, “the organization” or “the salesperson,” not “I would.”

· You should list the references you used to develop your paper.

Student Exercises:

Complete the following question(s) and type your answers into the Module 3 Exercises Template in the Module Assignments Area.

1. Turn to pages 207-208 in your textbook. You will be completing Parts I-IV of the Experiential Exercises.

2. Complete the Experiential Exercises Global Integration – Local Responsiveness Worksheet. You should answer each question below in 7-10 sentences per section (example: Part I: Global Model is one section). For each website you visit to find information, if you use that information be sure to put it in your own words and include that website as a reference in APA format.

Part I: Global Model

a. Define what a company using a global organizational model means (pages 190-191).

b. Then conduct research online to identify a company that you believe operates using the global organizational model to compete. Identify the company and include the company’s website in the references page.

c. Explain why you believe that company is operating using the global organizational model to compete using chapter terms and concepts (you should provide an informed opinion based on our reading and research; you must defend your position).

Part II: Transnational Model

a. Define what a company using a transnational organizational model means (pages 191-193).

b. Then conduct research online to identify a company that you believe operates using the transnational organizational model to compete. Identify the company and include the company’s website in the references page.

c. Explain why you believe that company is operating using the transnational organizational model to compete using chapter terms and concepts (you should provide an informed opinion based on our reading and research; you must defend your position).

Part III: International Model

Management Strategy Assessment:

Review the sections Skills of the Global Manager (page 198) and Understanding Cultural Issues (pages 198-203). You should answer each question below in 7-10 sentences per section (example: Part I: Global Model is one section).
