1. BUS 5611 DISCUSSION ASSIGNMENT (450 WORDS)

Read the article full text The Greatest Quality Management System Failures in History ( http://qualitymanagementsystem.com/total-quality-management/the-greatest-quality-management-system-failures-in-history/ ) and discuss the following topics:

-The article reviews different cases of quality failures and their impacts in terms of product units recalled. Do you consider that with enough focus on the quality of the development of these products, these failures could have been completely avoided? Explain why or why not.

-Nowadays, car manufacturers are competing on the development of driverless technologies aimed at introducing the first completely autonomous units in the market during the early 2020s. Do you consider that a quick and robust resolution of the problems identified by the driverless car users is the key activity to guarantee customer satisfaction? Explain why or why not.

2. BUS 5511 DISCUSSION ASSIGNMENT (450 WORDS)

As a Human Resource professional, it is part of your job to be able to understand, describe and interpret complex concepts such as discrimination, harassment, and other employment law issues.  It often falls to you to help other managers clarify and interpret complex laws that guide employment practices.  Choose a concept from your readings, your own experience, and/or your own research.  Discuss a concept you feel would be the most challenging to create a manager training/professional development session and provide some strategies for how you might meet this challenge.

3. BUS 5511 WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT

Submit a case paper about 2-pages in length, exclusive of the reference page, and that is double-spaced. ALSO NOTE THAT SOME OF THE REFERENCES SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO COURSE READINGS (THE LIST IS FOUND BELLOW)

Using the following material: Personally Yours: A Case Study Trilogy :  

· Locate Case Study 2, The Negligent Hiring/Retention Case. 

· Select either the role of Gary, Alyssa or Violet. 

· Respond to both Parts 1 & 2.

Papers must show an understanding of the situation(s) and issues presented in the Case Study, your ability to analyze those situation(s), (paying particular attention to issues that could present legal difficulties) presented and determine the correct action(s) HR must take.
