Background:

You have reached the finish line. Welcome to Week 4. In Week 4, you are now completing the remaining section of your business plan, along with your cover page. The cover page is often overlooked by many business plan creators. However, the cover page is truly where you begin to brand and market your business with your name selection, logo, and even telephone number, address, email, and web address. These components can all play a role in attracting the interest of the potential reader. You will want to consider carefully how your company will be viewed by others reading your plan and especially --- investors and funding agents!

In addition to the cover page, you will be finalizing your executive summary section. Again, much like a cover page or even a cover letter on a resume, this section is intended to brand and attract what your company is, what it does, who it serves, what it stands for and should be strategically put together in a way that shows those reading it that you have carefully thought a great deal about your company's business model and retain ethical and social standards.
