Carefully review developmental characteristics of children between the ages of birth and 5 in your Learning Resources and watch the Laureate Education media segment Virtual Field Experience: The Developmental Continuum. Be sure to view the media segment several times, annotating characteristics you will highlight in your narration. In this video, you will observe unscripted situations and scenes of children at different stages of early childhood development. The video snips will focus on the developmental continuum. We will look at the social emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development of children ranging from infancy to 5 years old.
