What would you do if a reporter/filmmaker/podcaster comes to you and says, “I have been subpoenaed to testify in a criminal trial?”
I witnessed a crime but did not collect or keep any written evidence. I just have video on my cellphone.
Does the reporter have a privilege not to testify? Why? Why not?
Does the reporter have to turn over his/her notes to law enforcement?
