Family Business

Prior to Assignment, discuss the following quote: “Winning is not a sometime thing; it’s an all-time thing. You don’t win once in a while, you don’t do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.” - Vince Lombardi

Description:

1) Read the following article about the most successful family-owned businesses by Corey Stern, The 21 Biggest Family-Owned Businesses In The World http://www.businessinsider.com/the-worlds-21-biggest-family-owned-businesses-2015-7

2) Work with a partner and choose a family-owned business that both of you would be interested in learning more about. Feel free to use the resource above as a source of ideas.

Research the family business you chose, including its history, leadership, product/service, best practices, and any other important and interesting information about its success.

3) Prepare to tell its story, in your own words to the rest of the class, using a PowerPoint presentation (minimum 7-8 slides).
