Roles and Responsibilities in Project Implementation

The success factor of the project is measured by looking at the contribution of all the parties responsible for meeting a specific need. How well a member within the team meets their part elevates or declines the level of success. Therefore, setting the expectation to allow for an understanding of accountability of the individual and eth variation of impact they are expected to influence. There is no perfection expected, but the fact that roles are given by the strength and expertise that a person develops allows room for their efforts to be well utilized within their position. Different roles would be best suited for different positions when looking at program development. It is therefore essential to understand the different responsibilities and tasks taken by the project manager, the database analyst, and the developer.

The key responsibilities that can be seen for the project needs are identifying the time schedules, budgeting, distribution of resources, control of safety nets, or the freedoms within the development. As such, cross-cutting issues and tasks must be accounted for by distributing to the specific person to avoid clashing or miscommunication. The fact that there could be potential marrying of responsibilities at any level means that there are times where duplication could easily be observed. However, specificity is needed to ensure that the expert's in-depth work is done.

Project Manager

The project manager is the first person to be considered within the project, as they take the lead in the project direction. Their most significant role is to make sure that each team member understands what is expected. As a project manager, identifying the tasks in a way that not only assigns degrees of measuring the milestones, there is a responsibility in collaborating the efforts to nudge the project in the right direction without being forceful or willful. In this way, the project manager facilitates the growth within the project by ensuring that there is a learning curve from each other in terms of inputs merging. Making sure that the team shines in their areas allows for personal development and a shift in how the project is done.

Looking at the ability and need to oversee the project initiatives by monitoring the progress to ensure that expectations are met. The responsibility involved in this is to identify where each data would be going or whether the results are relevant for the departments that they go. By looking at the information processing path and direction, the project manager can pinpoint the exact departmental stakeholders. The importance of this is to know where the controls needed to be and where the project's actions would be directed.

Take the fact that by compartmentalizing the needs of each area, the project manager is responsible for ensuring that each area lists their needs ins a way that can be converted into specific tasks for the team to work on. Therefore, the project manager works to make the process smooth by connecting the critical points in the project and the accomplishment it aims to attain. The following responsibilities necessary to ensure that this works.

· Coordination of the resources such that execution of multiple activities would be done flawlessly

· Monitoring project delivery timelines to ensure that it is done within the on-time

· Control of the budget and spending within the limits of the controls

· Develop a project plan that includes the schedule and timelines with verified techniques

· Monitoring of the escalation of the project issue to the upper management to ensure that activities in the company are not affected

· Measure performance against the indicators

· Manage the relationships between the team members

· Create project documentation and delegate the necessary tasks to experienced members while tracking the goals

Database Analyst

Data deals with the flow of information through the process, thus dealing with technological concerns, bearing in mind that the project needs to reach the usability of 100 people immediately and 2,500 employees later on. As such, the role of the analysis is to collect, compile, and synthesize data.

Data Analyst Tasks

The process thus involves the development of models of implementation such that testing can be verified based on a set criterion. The extraction of relevant data can only be structured understandably by the department that needs it. At the same time, the outcome needs to be understood for use by the end-user and within that a necessitated need to simplify how it can be presented and thus usability control (1). Therefore, the responsibilities of the data analysis involve:

· Data mining and extraction of information from multiple sources and categorization as primary and secondary to allow proper formatting

· Maintenance of the database by creating it, testing it, designing, and updating

· it

· Assurance of quality of the data by seeing its production capacity and enhancement of its usability

· Collaboration of the teams in software development, the testing, and the conveyances of information as relevant

· Development of regulation around data confidentiality and control of security makes sure that only those with access can control areas they have access to.

· Preparation of analysis in a way that all the stakeholders

· easily understand

Developer

It is necessary for the success of this project to have a software application that works in a way that is specific to the company's needs and transition. The main tasks within this are to ensure that there is a budgeting element, scheduling, and stage development for the data processing. The developer allows for creating for development. Therefore, the main role is to design, create and implement the software that is to be used from scratch and through that modification through the system as it grows (2). Fulfilling the project requirements that the input delivers outcome as anticipated and the responsibilities include:

· Planning in a way that enforces the ability to control, access, security, and maintain confidentiality

· Designing after researching, implementing, and management of software

· Identification of the modification necessary to be done and developing their advancements

· Writing the software codes and implementing them as relevant

· Upgrading the system to better as needed with time to showcase progression not only of the needs but also of the technology

· Developing a training document together with the database manager for the staff to make sure that data and data entry is done in the proper manner
