You did a lovely job on this assessment! You thoroughly discussed and demonstrated how to determine the credibility of evidence and resources. I appreciate your discussion on childhood obesity. This topic can definitely benefit from and EBP investigation.

Unfortunately, there were multiple APA errors that require attention. Otherwise, you did great!

I hope that you are becoming more aware of the importance of incorporating the best available evidence to enhance clinical reasoning and judgment skills when making decisions. With what you are learning in the course, do you find that you are changing the way you deliver care? Or are you seeing a difference in how you can make a positive impact on the care being provided? I always like to see when learners can take what they are learning in the classroom and apply it to practice making a difference in patient outcomes.

When you resubmit, please highlight your changes in yellow so that I may better identify your edits. Thank you!!

Respectfully,

Dr. T

I found this link very helpful when applying APA formatting to my work:  https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/apa_style/apa_formatting_and_style_guide/general_format.html

Remember: When we write, we are speaking to a "general audience" - not just medical professionals. Our knowledge base is vast and we have our own "common knowledge" but that does not work for laypersons. If the information is definitive, it requires citations. If you do not have a citation (or cannot find one), then we must rephrase or consider if the information is relevant enough to include

Also Remember: When you mention the source such as, âSources discussâ or âThe article explainedâ or âThe authors mentionedââ¦.these all require citations because you are discussing something specific and we need to give credit to the authors.
