Art 4

Purpose:

To familiarize yourself with the look or style of art in the Industrial and Modernist eras. 

Instructions:

1. Follow this link:  http://arthistoryproject.com/timeline/industrial-revolution/ . Review eight eras of art: Romanticism, Realism, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Fauvism, Pointillism, Expressionism, Photography.

2. Choose one image of an artwork/artifact from each era that you think represents the form (visual) and content (message) of that era (8 total images).

3. Search each image on Google/Images. Copy and paste the images into a Word document.

4. Number each image.  Next to the number and above the image, list the materials, style, mood, message/purpose/function.

5. Answer this:  Why  do you think your art/artifact represents that historical era?
