Introduction Comment by Booker, Arianne': Is this supposed to be an essay or a research paper? If it’s an essay, you do not need these headings.

Arts are created with imagination and a lot of skills that express some ideas or feelings. They include painting, sculptures, architecture, literature, music, or films. Arts are very important because they make people think beyond what they know; they communicate the artist's’ ideas, for example, i.e., what the artist wantsed to communicate. Arts are also used for decoration. In this paper, I will compare and contrast two pieces of art; Mona Lisa and Standard of Ur. Comment by Booker, Arianne': What is the they referring to? Remember, they is plural (more than one). If you are referring to Art, then use It instead of they. Check the following “they’s as well Comment by Booker, Arianne': Use a different word. It’s redundant when you use communicate again at the end of the sentence. Comment by Booker, Arianne': Explain. Comment by Booker, Arianne': You should never say in this paper I will…Your thesis statement should specifically state what you’re comparing and contrasting about the two pieces. Think about what qualities and ideas these two pieces of work share and how they differ. Think bigger picture. I don’t know much about either of these to give you an idea.

This landscape is painted using sfumato, which is a technique that doesn’t show lines or borders. The art sits with her arms folded as well as gazing at the viewer. The folded arms rest on a wooden arm of a chair. It can also be seen that the paint represents a woman who has long hair that falls on her shoulders. It also appears to have a soft smile. The color of this art is dull yellow. The original color was yellow, but it has been yellowed over the years due to a layer vanishing that covers the paint. It is possible that the paint was once brighter than it is now. Lastly, the woman in the paint wears a fabric cloth. This indicates that the idea of the artist was so valuable. Comment by Booker, Arianne': What is it? Comment by Booker, Arianne': How? Explain what makes it valuable? How does what you’ve stated indicate this? Just add because and finish out the sentence.
