High-level use of vocabulary and word choice

Language is clear and appropriate

Student presents a limited overview of the article’s content

Student presents most of the main ideas and facts from the article

The summary is written objectively

Article is only peripheral to assignment

Student demonstrates a moderately strong working knowledge of the conclusions from the article and the implications of these conclusions on the field
