Prework

1. In The Interventionists (posted in the Texts section of your course) please read pages 17-26, 29-34, 37-38, and 43-44. https://issuu.com/odaconnexio/docs/thompson__nato__sholette__gregory__

2. Look around the space you live in, evaluating the placement and function of the objects inhabiting your space.

3. Choose and object or an action to take in that space  You will be asked to displace an object or daily action so that its new and unlikely placement may bring about interesting social (within your household unit) responses or insights.

Photographic Documentation 

1. You will be required to take 2 images; (1) an image showing the original context of the object or activity; and (2) an image that shows the way in which the object or activity was transformed by its displacement.

2. Composite these two images together. Submit both your composite image along with the reflection writing below.

Reflection 

1. In 750 words, please write about these things: (1) a description of the social response caused by this displacement as shown in your photographic documentation; (2) a description of you effort to conduct this displacement/disruption, including any relevant efforts that did not produce results, and (3) the relation between your project and the projects you read about in The Interventionists.
