Each body paragraph integrates research to provide support for the main idea, and transitions to the next idea. The paper ends with a conclusion paragraph that summarizes the main ideas of the paper. The paper represents original work and correctly incorporates quotations and paraphrases from outside sources to inform the writing. |
Comments: All of the body paragraphs would benefit from a little more detail from the research. As I said before, the section on the religious strictures against capital punishment is weak—and probably unnecessary. |

The references used for support are scholarly and relevant to the topic. |

Comments: You have no title page and the paragraphs have varying indentations. You need to remove the annotation on your reference page. Some sentences could be smoothed out and you likely should just put those topic sentences into the bodies of the paragraphs which follow. |
