1. Introduction

Diversity is studied in many areas of science, and it can mean different things in each field. In biological science it can refer to differences between living organisms, while in social science and medicine it focuses more on how people live together with their differences. In the social sciences, diversity usually means the biological, social and cultural characteristics that make people different from one another. (Özbilgin and Erbil ,2024) explain that diversity includes factors such as race, gender, disability and social background.

Equality is linked to ideas of ethics and fairness. It challenges systems that mainly benefit religious, middle or upper-class, and able-bodied men. (Pyper and Uwazuruike,2024) show that equality law aims to protect people from discrimination and support groups who experience disadvantage through social structures, regulations and policies. This means that equality is about giving people the support they need to have fair access and opportunities.

Inclusion means making sure people from different backgrounds can take part fully and have an equal voice in teams, systems and organisational processes. It is about creating an environment where everyone feels valued and able to contribute. (Özbilgin and Erbil ,2024) describe inclusion as an ideal state where barriers are removed so that all individuals can participate equally. This aligns with Shore et al. (2011), who explain that inclusion allows people to belong while still being recognised as unique. The concepts of Diversity, Equality , and Inclusion will be used in this report to investigate DEI Concerns in the computing sector. It will look at how Google handles issues related to accessibility, gender in equality , race and disability
